About Me
My goal is to develop companies and individuals through training, seminars, and practical exercises where I share my experience. I want to demonstrate what has contributed to my success and identify areas where I could have made better choices. My ambition is to help others reach their goals, promote efficiency, and create structures that support continuous improvement.
My strength lies in my ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve strategic goals and operational excellence. Success is not only measured in results, but also in how we treat and include our employees on the journey. I am known to be humble, empathetic and unprestigious.
Private/Family
I was born in 1980 in Sarajevo, Bosnia, where I spent my first 22 years before moving to Sweden in 2002. Growing up in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia, was characterised by both love and challenges, as I also experienced the difficulties of the war between 1992 and 1995.
In Sweden, I have found a new home and created a meaningful life together with my wonderful family. I am married and have two amazing children and we appreciate every moment we get to share together. When we're not spending time at home, we love to explore the world together through travel. I find great joy in cooking for my family and enjoy the moments we get to spend with good friends. For me, life is a journey filled with discoveries, community and I look forward to every new chapter.
Me & Sport
Sports and I have always had a close connection. Over the years, I have practiced a variety of sports. Everything from football and tennis to swimming and basketball. Martial arts have also been a great passion of mine since I was eight years old. Unfortunately, the war and other unfortunate events put a stop to this passion, which meant I never really had the opportunity to pursue any sport seriously.
Everything changed when I moved to Sweden. Here, I discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and it changed my life. After 12 years of intense training several times a week and plenty of competitions, I was promoted to black belt. Along my journey, I have competed both nationally and internationally, with several medals as a result.
For the past eight years, I have dedicated myself to sharing my knowledge and skills with others. I started as a coach for children and today I coach adults. My team, where we train under the name Fenix Martial Arts and Checkmat flag, has become like a second family. Here, we train under the guidance of coach Mike Wall and head coach Daniel de Stevens Silva.
For me, sports are more than just physical activity – it's a lifestyle about community, discipline, and personal development. I look forward to every new challenge and opportunity to continue growing, both as a practitioner and coach.
